It’s an adventure filled with nature, friendship, food, discovery, and the magic of finding something incredible when you follow your curiosity just a little farther.

Behind The Story

Every Lila adventure begins with a real one!

Albania wasn’t just somewhere I visited. For six months, it was home. I rented an apartment, made friends, explored the cities, beaches, mountains, and countryside, and experienced the everyday rhythm of life there.

Some of my favorite memories came from the places hardest to reach, including an overnight adventure deep in the mountains where the road ended and we continued by boat to an off-grid cabin. Kayaking across the quiet water, sharing a homemade mountain breakfast, and falling asleep surrounded by complete silence showed me a side of Albania I’ll never forget, and one I wanted to weave into Lila’s adventure.
